About Volare

Helping People Find the Safety to Rise

Volare — meaning “to fly” — was born from a simple conviction: people don't need to be fixed. They need to feel safe enough to expand. When the nervous system is regulated and the heart feels held, transformation happens naturally.

“You can stay with yourself and still rise.”

Her Story

Andrea Cruz, LMFT

From Clinical Director to founder of a movement

Andrea A. Cruz is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 127961) and a creative, vivacious clinician who guides individuals toward self-discovery and self-actualization. She encourages self-exploration by bridging people back to their greater sense of self, helping them re-integrate after dealing with broken homes, broken lives, and broken identities — in a gentle and client-centered manner.

Andrea presented at the American Psychological Association Denver Conference in 2016 and is a member of the Humanistic Existential Division 32 of the APA. While Humanistic Existentialism is her primary modality, she is proficient in Client-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, Positive Psychology, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, DBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, Gestalt, and Family Structural approaches.

For four years, she served as Clinical Director at Northbound Treatment Center, where she led clinical teams, designed treatment programs, and witnessed firsthand the power of community-based healing. During that time, she saw talented clinicians burning out under the weight of insurance-based care and a system that prioritized paperwork over people.

That conviction became Volare — a platform that brings together evidence-based counseling, heart-centered guidance, and accessible pricing. Through group counseling, coaching, and clinician mentorship, Volare creates spaces where people can heal in community and clinicians can build sustainable, fulfilling practices.

Our Values

What Guides Everything We Do

Safety First

Healing begins when the nervous system feels safe. We create environments where vulnerability is met with warmth, not judgment.

Community Over Isolation

We believe you heal faster in connection. Group counseling breaks the myth that you have to figure everything out alone.

Evidence + Heart

Every approach is rooted in clinical evidence and delivered through a lens of deep compassion and human warmth.

Expansion Without Self-Abandonment

Growth shouldn't mean losing yourself. We help you expand from a place of self-trust — not self-sacrifice.
